When I officially embarked on a cybersecurity role in 2012, I lacked formal cybersecurity experience. My prior experience was primarily in systems administration and authentication. Back then, advanced cybersecurity monitoring tools like endpoint detection and response were not yet available. I had the privilege of learning from some of the best cybersecurity professionals I’ve ever encountered.
This book summarizes some of the many learnings I had throughout this transition. It also proposes some of the core ideas that ultimately led to the more universal theories proposed in Designing Secure Systems.

This book is self-published which allows me to offer it at very low cost. If you are considering purchasing Designing Secure Systems but want to get to know me as a writer, I highly recommend checking out Think Like a Hacker.
